Recently, one of our plastic packaging companies reported that ink leaks are often found in UV inkjet printers. Ask us how to deal with it? Today, we will share with you common reasons and solutions for ink leakage in high-resolution inkjet printers based on the experience of after-sales engineers.
The production line of this packaging company in Chengdu uses a three-nozzle UV inkjet printer, and ink leaks are the middle nozzle. The engineer found that ink leaked during the power outage and the M3 wire on the front of the nozzle cover slipped; after replacing the nozzle solenoid valve and fixing the nozzle cover with Phillips screws on the side, the spray printing test was normal.

What are the common causes of ink leakage?
1. The solenoid valve of the sprinkler head is damaged;
2. The ink filter of the nozzle is not tightly sealed;
3. The ink pipes and filters are blocked due to the use of inferior ink;
4. Damage to the ink cartridge;
5. Caused by excessive ink addition;
6; The nozzle is damaged and causes leakage;
7. The fixing of the nozzle cover and nozzle becomes loose, causing ink leakage when the inkjet printer is working;
8. The machine negative pressure parameter is set incorrectly.
The inkjet printer has been operating at high load for a long time and is a fragile production equipment. It is recommended to carry out regular cleaning and maintenance (if the company does not have a professional engineer, it is recommended to contact after-sales service). If ink leaks from the inkjet printer, it is recommended to contact the supplier or professional after-sales service company in time to handle the UV inkjet printer failure in a timely manner so as not to affect the inkjet quality and production plan.
